Railway service (construction service)

The track with its tracks and the vehicles with their wheelsets running in the track form important parts of the railway system. While passengers travel in the passenger compartments of the vehicles and perceive them directly, the track with its special features is usually only noticed by railway users when something is wrong with it.

The most important task of the railway service is therefore the maintenance and care of the track and its immediate surroundings.
